Jill Donaldson is a leading corporate and securities lawyer in British Columbia who, during her 20+ years of practice at IWJ Law, has developed extensive experience advising on the legal, and regulatory issues that arise with the formation, financing, governance and operation of public and private investment funds and listed and private companies. Jill is a member of several public and private boards and advisory committees, which benefit from her strategic mindset, financial acumen and extensive M&A, capital markets, risk management, corporate governance, stakeholder engagement and strategic planning and implementation experience, Jill’s current role as a Senior Advisor at IWJ Law allows her the time and flexibility needed to focus on continuing to broaden her experience as a corporate director. Jill holds her Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia. Jill obtained her ICD.D designation in 2019 and ESG board designation (GCB.D) in 2023.
Jill is also active in the community as a Director of Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
